Frank Cuypers is a nuclear engineer, a M.Sc. in nuclear physics and a Ph.D. in theoretical physics, with a vast lecturing experience and a prominent scientific track record in modeling complex systems. He is a fully qualified member of the German and Swiss Actuarial Associations and he currently chairs the Swiss CPD Committee. As a former Swiss Re Executive and Chief Actuary at Zurich Re in Cologne, Frank has a wide experience in most actuarial disciplines and lines of business, which he has deployed at KPMG and PwC to advise leading (re)insurers, providers of financial services and governmental agencies. Moreover, he has taught numerous workshops on actuarial engineering and predictive modeling across the globe. He is currently the Chairman of ASTIN, the worldwide organization of actuaries dedicate to actuarial studies in non-life insurance, and he also presides the Committee for Continuing Professional Development of the Swiss actuaries.
